Let me introduce you to Urban Pole Walking.

Hi everyone my name is Peggy and I am the owner of Sixty Plus Fitness. I call my

business Sixty Plus Fitness because I am Sixty plus  myself and I realize how

important fitness is to those of us over sixty, if we want to keep going we must keep

moving. Although I am over sixty and could retire if I wanted to, I choose to keep

working because in today’s society I can. I have taught senior fitness for over

20 years .

One year ago I quit smoking and gained 25 lbs. now that I have the non

smoking lifestyle well in hand , its time to do something about that 25lbs. In March

I started Urban Poling , which I am a Certified Instructor,  at the Ford Test  Track,

can usually find me over there  2-3 times a week. I am always over at the track

on Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. ready to teach anyone who is  interested in learning

how to  Urban Pole Walk , Getting back to this 25 extra lbs I am carrying around I decided to make

my goal this summer is  to loose it through Urban Pole Walking. My plan is to walk

as many times a week as I can and a minimum of twice weekly to get myself slimmed

down again and to eat healthy. Since March I have lost 3 lbs and and 2 1/2  inches off of my waist. I will

keep this post updated for the summer to let you know h0w I am doing and to

encourage senior to keep moving it makes life so much easier. I also am a Senior Fitness

Instructor specializing in FUNCTIONAL FITNESS FOR SENIORS who need

motivation and encouragement after suffering an illness or depression who cannot

get out for regular exercise classes.
