We all have preconceptions of aging; based on our grandparents, parents and those around us. And accordingly the perception is that as we age we will succumb to a slowness of mind and frailty of body.

WELL, NUTS TO THAT!

I’m hoping to dispel the myth that you have to slow down when you’re in your sixties. Because although I may be older in birth-years but I have no intention of calling “time” on life. I’m out to prove that just because I’m in my sixties doesn’t mean my life is over.

Life is short and as I age it will only get shorter, so I intend to make the most of what’s left.

This means maximising my health-span along with my life-span. And if that sounds familiar it should – it’s the core principle that underpins the ethos of longevity.

And hopefully I’ll have some fun along the way.

This website is my way of documenting my journey and the challenges I set myself - which hopefully will inspire others; because if a guy like me who’s had his backside wedged in a chair in front of a computer for the best part of forty years can do it, anybody can!

Please read the articles, my attempts to run various distances and watch the various YouTube clips that I hope will show that it's never too late to do something about aging well.
