These are challenges I set myself, to ensure (or prove to myself) that I'm not growing old too quickily.

Santa Dash 2025 - Leeds.
Not a challenge as such but a "fun run" in the aid of charity dressed as Santa.
Here I'm one runner amongst 3,000 runners, young and old, enjoying a community run.

The Gateley Half Marathon (13.1 miles) around Roundhay Park, Leeds.
This challenge is being turned into a book showing one man's process of converting from an occasional 5k gym-runner to taking on his first Half Marathon aged 61.
